Welcome to Handy Ady Margate

Ady provides Handyman services in Margate and the surrounding area, carrying out a wide range of jobs for homeowners and businesses.

I love making and fixing things, either in your home, office or at my workshop. From basic jobs such as putting up pictures or fixing a leaking tap, through to carpentry jobs such as building bespoke shelving, or making something you need, I’m happy to help!

You’ll find examples of some of the things I have made and jobs that I have done on this site, but remember I am happy to discuss any requirements you have, and that no job is too small.

For your peace of mind, I have full Public Liability Insurance to cover any work that I do.

I couldn't recommend Ady enough. From the first call to finishing the work, Ady was incredibly helpful, thorough and responsive. He's an absolute perfectionist and this shines through in his work. I would not hesitate to use him again

Ady fixed several large posters and mirrors to the wall, fitted six ceiling lights and carried out repairs on three gates. We couldn’t be happier with the results. He’s a terrific person to deal with and we give him the highest recommendation possible. We will be using him again.

I commissioned Ady to make me a bar billiards table during one of the lockdowns. It is amazing quality and he went through a lot of the build with me over FaceTime due to covid restrictions. It is a piece of art more than just a bar billiards table. I don’t know how many hour he spent on it but can’t have been quick. I suppose it kept him occupied during lockdown 🙂 He even made a trolley for it to move it in from the garage as he found it weighed about as much as a small elephant due to the quality. He then delivered it to my house. The only downside is that I keep getting beaten at bar billiards by the wife. Can’t rate Ady high enough.

Ady is fantastic! Nothing about the service could be improved. He did various jobs for me like putting up heavy mirrors and a bathroom cabinet and fixing a broken garden gate. He also restored an antique wooden table that I have and did an amazing job - all the legs were broken but now it's as good as new. He is very friendly, has great communication, is reliable and trustworthy and the service was great value for money. Highly recommended!
