Renovation of a tired bathroom in our house in Hackney.
I began by reinforcing the floor and using waterproof tile backing board in order to provide a waterproof membrane behind the tiles. A false wall was incorporated to hide the shower plumbing and toilet cistern, before tiling the entire room with large grey slate finish tiles.
All fixtures and plumbing were installed to transform the room to a luxury wetroom bathroom.
