As part of our dining room refurbishment, we needed a dining table that could be folded away, under the fold down bed, when not in use.
A simple table top was cut down from 18mm Birch plywood, and reinforced with a set of rails underneath. The top was finished with Tung Oil, a hard wearing finish that is resistant to water and alcohol – no more red wine stains on the table!
The legs are a set of banqueting table legs that fold away neatly, meaning the table can be stored when not in use with minimal space.
